ALASKA

Kvichak River

The Kvichak is one of North Ameica’s legendary trout rivers. The rainbow trout become huge here gorging on the eggs and flesh of the millions of sockeye that return to the river every year to spawn.

Kenai River

This is the destination to fish for the “salmon of your life”. The Kenai River produces the largest king salmon in the world, with fish that have been registered at over 100 lb in weight. It also offers excellent fishing for large rainbow trout and one of the biggest runs of sockeye salmon you will ever see.

Naknek River

The Naknek is an extremely versatile river which offers excelent fishing for sockeye and silver salmon as well as huge rainbow trout. In fact, it is one of Alaska’s best rivers for trophy size rainbow trout. Other species available include pink and chum salmon and a few kings as well as dolly varden and grayling.

Unalakleet River

The Unalakleet River is a remote destination on the western coast of Alaska, just south of the Bering strait. It is a great river for those looking for great fishing away from the crowds. The silver salmon fishing is tops.

Alaska Peninsula

It is like going back in time to when fishermen had just discovered Alaska as a sportfishing paradise: incredible numbers of fish, wild untouched nature, beautiful scenery awithout a trace of civilization.

CONTINENTAL EUROPE

Ybbs River, Austria

The Ybbs River in Austria is a beautiful crystalline river which holds large populations of rainbow and brown trout as well as grayling in average sizes of 10 to 16 inches, but there are always good chances for fish in the 20+ inch range. Our Ybbs packages may include the Steyr or the Salza River which both have good popultaions of char.

The Pyrenees, Spain

The gin clear mountain rivers of the Pyrenees in Navarra, Aragón and Catalonia hold excellent populations of native brown trout and brook trout.

ICELAND

Breiddalsá River

Careful management has helped to make this beautiful river the destination of choce on the east coast of Iceland for many fly fsihermen. The Breiddalsá River als has one of the best fishing lodges in the country. the lower rivers offers good fishing for sea-run char.

Litlá River

Although spring and fall seatrout attract many anglers to the Litlá, large char canbe caught throughout the season. The Litla offers excellent opportunities to sight fish to char in the 20+ inch category. 

Tungufljot River

Local fishermen consider the Tungufljot Iceland’s answer to the Rio Grande in Tierra del Fuego. It is undoubtedly one of the best rivers in the country to fly fish for large sea-run brown trout. The average size of the seatrout here is about 7 or 8 pounds, but fish in the 10 to 20 lb range are not uncommon.

Sog River

 The Sog or Sogid River is the largest clear water river in Iceland. This river is known to give very big salmon. It is best fished with a two hand rod by fly fisherman. Additonally the river also offers very good fishing for sea-run char in the 2 to 5 lb range.

RUSSIA

Varzina Trout Camp

This is fly fishing for brown trout as you dreamt it: huge wild browns often on dry flies in a pristine river virtually untouched by man. The river also offers good fishing for char.
