Tierra del Fuego’s Rio Grande is probably the best place in the world to catch a trophy size sea-run brown trout. However, the Chilean side of the island also offers incredible fly fishing for resident trout in other rivers and lakes.
In addition to being one of Iceland’s most productive salmon rivers Lacá in Kjos also offers excellent fishing for seatrout. From early August through all of September the river receives an healthy run of sea-run brown trout averaging around 5 lbs.
Located on the northern shore of Russia’s kola Peninsula, the Sidorovka River is a fantastic remote destination for MSW salmon as well as sea-run brown trout. A small tent camp caters to groups of 6 fly fishermen at a time that have the entire river to themselves.
