We have been organizing Alaska fishing trips since 2002. Since then we have accumulated a significant amount of knowledge advising on destinations, best dates, species available, types of lodging and programs available and making all of the arrangements necessary to create the best possible Alaska fishing experience for our clients.

The best dates for Alaska salmon fishing depend on the specific species and the river. Generally June and July are the best months for chinook, chum, sockeye and pink salmon. Rainbow trout, char and grayling fishing can also be good in certain waters during these months. However, the best fishing for these species is usually from mid-August until the end of September coinciding with the best dates for coho salmon in a lot of rivers.

Fresh water sport fishing destinations in Alaska can be divided into those accessible by the road system and those not. There is a huge selection of large and small rivers and creeks which can indeed be accessed by the road system, some with very good fishing. However, unless you are willing to walk a way you will usually run into more fishermen. Sometimes they will be far more abundant then the local fauna. However, by taking one more commercial flight from Anchorage to elsewhere in the state, we can reach areas which are much more wild where the sport fishing pressure is dramatically reduced. And if you are willing to fly into the bush in a small plane you can access some of the most remote and wild corners of Alaska with an unimaginable abundance of fish.

Below, we offer a selection of our most recommendable Alaska destinations from the most accessible to the most remote.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″
